Our mission is to nurture the unique qualities of each individual. Providing a non-judgmental and relaxing environment that encourages every person to thrive while bonding with animals and nature in support of improving mental wellness. Our gentle animals create a safe environment where everyone can enjoy verbal and non-verbal communication, personal healing and growth.

About Us

Based in the Macedon Ranges, we offer a variety of therapeutic services to support all people in need. Homelea Farmstead helps both children and adults with mental health issues, chronic illnesses, disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Christine has been a qualified professional counsellor for many years and trained in a variety of therapies. She has lived in the Macedon Ranges on property, for over 15 years with her family and many animals. Over the years Christine has had the pleasure of working in the area of mental health as well as the animal industry. Christine is also a mother of four girls, with two of her children on the autism spectrum. Having worked with and owned animals for most of her life the opportunity to combine both her passions for animals and helping people came to life as Homelea Farmstead was born. Homelea Farmstead's dream came true after experiencing first-hand, the benefits these incredible animals provided for people of all ages, particularly for those with therapeutic needs and individuals with disabilities. Christine’s property is a peaceful and tranquil setting, where the safety and wellbeing of all clients, staff and therapy animals are paramount.
